Jody did such a good job of estimating what would work well for my complicated nonfiction book that I needed to request only a few changes of any real importance after some very preliminary discussions and her initial effort. Following the structure of the manuscript, she put together several pages associated with the several parts, set up some “galleries” on several of those pages for a few of my photos, and established an effective navigation system with sensible links between parts. She also did a fine job with some touch-ups for the stunning photo on the cover for my website (and hunted up a photo or two to include). She explained well my alternatives when those were limited by GoDaddy’s technologies. Talking things over with her was easy, as was getting her to make follow-up changes. I felt like all the choices were mine. Last but not always least, she is new enough at this that she doesn’t charge all that much—if GoDaddy had built my website, it might have cost me at least 4 times as much."
